Cynthia Luján is a Guatemalan-Mexican American visual artist and muralist cultivating projects that promote inclusive, accessible, and safe public spaces. Upon graduating with a BFA in Fine Arts & minor in Russian Language in 2015, Cynthia has developed strong community connections with groups in Santa Ana, Long Beach, and Norwalk, CA.
Cynthia Luján’s artwork centers around mobility justice and fosters dialogue and deepen belonging within communities to create inclusive, safe, and more accessible public spaces. Recent artworks surround celebrations of active transportation centering the joy that empowers folks to travel through their neighborhoods in varying mobilities across Southern CA.
