After an Art history and a fashion designer degree, Célia Bruneau instinctively works with embroidery, a craft she reinterprets by straying away from traditional codes. With an intuitive and spontaneous approach, she uses thread as a link between drawing, painting and fabric. A way of approaching a piece in a personal and symbolic way, almost fetish. Modern graphics inspired by everyday life, a mood or sketches almost naive, her creations confront technique and materials to the imperfect rhythm of the drawing, giving full meaning to the concept of handmade work.

Now traveling through the world since September 2023, she draws inspiration from different countries and cultures, translating the landscapes and scenes of life that she discovers along her way.
